I don’t typically wear hair accessories but it is nice to change things up once in a while. Hair scarves have been trending for a while though I’m only just coming around to them. I tried one out the other day and now I’m obsessed with finding more ways to wear them.

Adding a hair scarf is an easy way to dress up a simple outfit and make it feel a little more special. It can be the finishing touch that makes an outfit of individual pieces look put together. Need more inspiration? I’ve included a few more ideas on how to wear a hair scarf below.

Born and raised in Michigan, I moved to Washington, D.C. after graduating from the University of Michigan. I received my law degree from Georgetown University and worked briefly as a lawyer before pursuing a decade-long career as a congressional aide on Capitol Hill. These days I am a work from home mom of three kids in Arlington, Virginia. I love to make connections, build my mom network, and share a good tip with a girlfriend (over lunch, of course).
