I don’t wear a lot of makeup. Who has time for that? Like many of you, I’m a busy mom with not a lot of extra time to spare in the morning before I head out the door. But I do like to do a little so I look more put together. Since we’re wearing face coverings everyday eye makeup is all you need to worry about! These are the three products that I use everyday.
1. Eyelash Serum
Okay, so technically the first item isn’t makeup at all but I’m putting it number one on my list because this product has changed my eye makeup routine dramatically. Eyelash growth serums have eliminated my need to wear eyeliner because my lashes are so long and full now. Eyelash serum comes in a tube similar to mascara. You swipe it across your lash line every night before bed and in two to three weeks you will see results. If you stop using the product your lashes will go back to normal. I’ve been using an eyelash serum consistently for the last four years and my lashes continue to respond to the serum. I can’t say enough good things about adopting an eyelash serum into your routine. Anyone can grow long, luscious, full eyelashes. I’m currently using GrandeLash-MD which you can find at Sephora and is less than $40. I’ve also tried Lash Boost and Neulash and they are just as effective.
2. Mascara Primer
Around the same time I discovered eye lash growth serums, I discovered mascara primer. This is another product that I’m addicted to. Mascara primer adds extra fullness and volume to your lashes. You apply it to your eyelashes before your mascara. It helps lengthen my lashes before my mascara goes on. Lancome makes my favorite mascara primer at the moment.
3. Mascara
As far as department store mascaras go, I am drawn toward anything that will make my lashes look dramatic. I have two favorites: Better Than Sex and Lancome’s Hypnose Drama.
