My Favorite Jogger Pants

I just found my perfect leisure pant and I have to share! I’ve been admiring jogger pants for over a year now. I’d been stuck on the idea of wearing pants that are chic yet comfortable — the perfect momiform piece. But I’ve tried on so many pairs in the last year that just did not look good that I resigned myself to the idea that joggers were not meant to be . . . for me anyway. Every pair of joggers I tried on were anything but chic. Comfortable, yes. But they usually just fit and looked like I was wearing sweatpants. And the point of joggers is that they are supposed to be stylish too.

So I was super excited when I found these joggers on my shopping adventure in Spain. Luckily, I’m seeing this style crop up more and more around stores in the U.S. too so we can all wear the perfect leisure pant — and we don’t have to travel to Spain to find it (though you should if you can!). I love that they have an elastic waistband so they are as comfortable as yoga pants, but they are made of a crepe fabric and are cropped and banded at the hem so their is some structure and style too. The side stripe gives the pant a casual vibe which allows the flexibility to dress them up or down depending on the occasion. If you want to dress them down just pair them with a tee shirt and sneakers. So versatile! It’s also the perfect in-between for these seemingly endless winter temps we are experiencing on the East Coast. So until spring finally arrives for good, I’ll be wearing my favorite joggers to keep warm (and stylish) this spring.
