How To Style Sneakers With Dresses and Skirts

If you are traveling this summer comfortable footwear is a must. Whenever I travel I try to stay away from shorts and instead I pack a lot of dresses and skirts. Sneakers with my dresses and skirts are the way to go especially if you are doing a lot of walking on old cobblestone streets in Europe. It can feel a little awkward if you aren’t used to wearing sneakers with anything other than denim and athleisure. But sneaker options have come a long way and they look great with dresses.

Born and raised in Michigan, I moved to Washington, D.C. after graduating from the University of Michigan. I received my law degree from Georgetown University and worked briefly as a lawyer before pursuing a decade-long career as a congressional aide on Capitol Hill. These days I am a work from home mom of three kids in Arlington, Virginia. I love to make connections, build my mom network, and share a good tip with a girlfriend (over lunch, of course).
