If you haven’t heard, ultra-violet (known as purple to you and I) is Pantone’s color of the year for 2018. Expect to see various shades of purple popping up everywhere this year. Since we are heading into Spring, incorporating lilac into your outfits is an obvious way to pay tribute to the new “it” color. You’re about to see a lot of this hue this year so you might as well pick out a few things you’ll wear on repeat through the Spring and Summer.

I recently discovered this Free People sweater and I have to say it is so absolutely comfortable and cozy it’s my pick for a must-have Spring sweater. It’ll keep you warm during cooler Spring temps yet it’s worn off the shoulder so it’s a little more fun for Spring. It is meant to be slouchy with wide blouson sleeves that gather at the wrists. It’s $68 and comes in six colors. At that price point I predict that it won’t stay in stock for long!
