I am a 47 year-old midlife fashion and lifestyle blogger who believes that David Bowie got it right when he said “aging is the process of becoming the person you always should have been.”

I began Lunch With A Girlfriend in 2017 after lunch with a dear friend who encouraged me to share my passion for fashion, health, and wellness. Well, that, and the universe grabbed me by the shoulders and implored me to use my natural gifts for writing and living life beautifully.

In midlife, we learn to follow our bliss and encourage and support other women to do the same. I love my lunches with girlfriends. They inspire me and give me the courage to try new things. Born and raised in Michigan, I moved to Washington, D.C. after graduating college. A recovering lawyer, I was a congressional aide before deciding to stay at home with my three kids and make Arlington, Virginia my place of work. I love to make connections, build my mom network, and share a good tip with a girlfriend (over lunch, of course).
